“VERY accomodating owner!”
At first our motorcycle group of 8 was a little wary of staying here, but the Super 8 was totally booked and we did not want to travel too far outside of Savanna. After talking with Lois, the proprietor, I felt more comfortable about being responsible for making the overnight plans. All the rooms were very comfortable and VERY clean.... more
Stayed at this hotel when we were in town for a funeral. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was very clean and comfortable. If I am ever back in Savana I would definately stay here again. more
“next best thing to home!”
I chose to come back this year after a fantastic stay last summer. Once again I was not disappointed. I arrived in a large group of forty and Lois (the owner) had all our check-in paperwork done and a cooler of cold beverages waiting at the door. What could be more perfect? Another "GREAT" stay for the second year in a row at the L & M Motel. Lois and all the girls had everything set up and ready for our group of over 40 people upon our arrival. A letter to the Savanna Chamber of Commerce:
Your town is a bikers dream come true! How absolutely awesome for you to have your businesses realize what customer service is all about! This was our second stay at L&M Motel. Last year, while planning for our trip to Milwaukee, we had heard of Poopy's, got on line for a place to stay and L&M Motel seemed to be the place for our biker group. What a great choice - Lois and her "crew" made us feel like we had to come back. And we were right!
Since we were passing thru last year we rebooked so we could stay two nights this year. Savanna was actually our destination stop! Poopy’s, was just what the doctor ordered for making you forget about the stresses of the work day world. AND this year some of us even got to meet the owner, Kevin. We were all totally surprised by his age and his down-home personality!
We had a bonus this year as we ate at the Kountry Kettle for breakfast each morning (within walking distance). The food and hospitality was extremely awesome! You must be very proud to live in this town where you have so much to offer so many folks. Looking forward to planning next year’s trip! More roads to travel and businesses to check out! Keep up the good work and we will keep telling folks about your WOW-factors!
